About the event
This workshop aims at the following
1. Equipping the leaders of tomorrow from the African background heritage and other ethnicities with the right tools to deal with culturally sensitive stories/comments in main stream media.
2. Enabling young leaders from ethnic backgrounds establish formidable networks with an
aim of embracing different cultural practices, beliefs and values in NSW.
3. Developing skills and knowledge on how to bridge the gap between government officials and ethnic communities so that there is dialogue and consultation prior to media comments.
